The old adage "it takes a village" shines a light on the fact that neighbors have lent support to the families around them since time immemorial. Recently, a group of neighbors who have been supporting facets of Lyle in meaningful ways decided to band together to better meet the evolving needs of our community. Operating across the Lyle School District, Neighbor 2 Neighbor (N2N) is curious to learn about individual and family needs and get creative to try to address those concerns.
NOVEMBER 28 - Klickitat River Clean-Up! Join your neighbors in picking up litter along the Klickitat River on Friday, November 28th from 10a - 12p. Dress for the weather (rain gear, boots, layers, nitrile gloves, etc.). Unable to join us at that time? Feel encouraged to go out and collect litter at a time that better fits your schedule.
December/January/February - Need food assistance but you are unable to get to the food bank during their scheduled pick-up day? Let us know. A volunteer is willing to help complete the form so that a food box can be delivered to Lyle for you.
